Rooms and invites
- Local / solo — the shared default lobby, not a match you create. Matches you create use Slots.
- Open match — Create match with Access set to Open. It appears under Open matches.
- Private — set Access to Private before Create match. Players join with
/r/{code}or the Telegram invite. The invite opens the bot chat, and tapping Play there joins the room. - Training — its own room (1 human, no bots, not listed). It still counts as your hosted room, so leave it before you Create match.
- Slots are the roster. A bot fills a slot. The 1v1 preset is two human seats (waits for a second player). Custom
Slots 2/2with 1 bot is you against that bot. With 1 slot you play solo, without bots. - Ready appears once every slot is filled by a person or a bot. Only people tap it. The roster and the map show who already has. Anyone who doesn't tap it in time is removed and can take a seat again. When the room is full, the Telegram bot messages the host and the players.
- Already hosting? The Lobby shows Open my room / Leave room. You can't start another room until you open or leave the current one.
- Leave room gives up your seat. The match keeps running until every human has left — bots alone don't keep a room alive.
- AFK / closed Mini App — if nobody from the room is connected for about 10 minutes during a live match, the server drops human seats and deletes the room. Solo vs bots ends as soon as that timer hits. After the match ends, the results screen stays briefly (~10 minutes), then the room is removed.
One account = one seat. If you open the same account on two devices, the most recent connection wins.
Maps
The host picks the map in the Lobby Settings before Create match, and everyone who joins plays it. All three maps share the same rules, build menu and scoring — only the world and some of the goods differ. Each has permanent mid-match economy events (unlock + consumer remap; see Match phases). Matches may also roll timed shocks (crop failure, war, …) — temporary, shown on the map banner.
- Han lands — river plains, forests and mountain passes. The classic goods catalog. Midway through the match, dye workshops unlock 🧣 dyed silk; trade houses and estates switch from 👘 silk clothes to dyed silk (silk clothes become a workshop input with indigo).
- Arabian sands — desert dunes, oases and jebel ridges. There's only one wadi, so 🛶 dhows only work for markets on it. No rice, silk clothes, furniture, flatbread, tea or hemp clothes — those stay on Han lands. It adds 🧂 salt, 🐑 wool, 🕯️ frankincense and 🌹 roses; 🪵 timber is shared. Crafts: 🪔 incense, 🫙 glassware, 🪢 carpets, 🧴 attar and 🧥 wool clothes (wool also goes into carpets). Demand comes from three extra sites (see Buildings). Mid-match: dye houses unlock 🧶 dyed carpets (~12 min); later, forges unlock 🗡️ damascus blades (~18 min) and garrisons switch from weapons.
- Roman roads — hills, rivers and the Apennines. Like the sands, it has no rice, silk clothes, furniture, flatbread, tea or hemp clothes. It adds 🫒 olives, 🍇 grapes, 🐟 fish, 🐄 hides and ⬜ marble, plus salt and wool. 🪵 Timber is shared. Crafts: 🫗 oil, 🍷 wine, 🥫 garum, 🥾 leather, 🧥 togas, 🟧 roof tiles, 🗿 statues and 👔 linen (from flax or hemp). Weapons are made from iron. River freight travels by 🚢 barge. There are seven extra demand sites (see Buildings). 🐚 Murex beds sit on the coast from the start. Midway through the match, dye vats unlock 🟣 purple cloth; villas and forums switch from togas.
Open matches show their map next to the seat count, so you know what you're joining.
